By clicking the “Accept All Cookies” button, you agree that we can “use” (collect, save, store, change, transfer (including trans-border transfer) and delete) cookies as described below. You are further confirming through the pop-up banner, to the extent allowed by applicable law, that personal data (which includes any personally identifiable information/personal data about you) may be collected and stored by third parties located outside of the EU/EEA. Please see the “How Do We Use Particular Cookies?” section below for more information.

What is a Cookie, How We Use Them & How Long They Stay?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your web browser when you visit our websites. Cookies help us distinguish you from other visitors by allowing us to learn and remember your actions and preferences on our websites. In this way, cookies help us provide you with customized content and efficient navigation through our websites.
There are two broad categories of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie expires and disappears when you close your browser. A persistent cookie stays on your device for a pre-defined time period or until you manually delete it.
Provascular does not make use of any technology that recognizes visitors personally as long as you haven‘t given your explicit consent. You can change your consent about the use of these technologies as well as the use of third-party cookies within the Cookie Preference Center. If you block third-party cookies through the Cookie Preference Center, this will also disable any related web beacons, SDKs, pixels, or similar tools that third parties may set on your device.

You can manage or disable cookies at any time by adjusting your browser settings. Please refer to the settings menu of your browser for instructions on how to change your cookie preferences. What Types of Cookies Do We Use?
We use four types of cookies on our websites: strictly necessary cookies; analytical/performance cookies; functionality cookies; and targeting/advertising cookies. Each cookie is described below.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the operation of our website and cannot be switched off without impairing the functioning of our website. The cookies are set to respond to the actions you take, including navigating our website and using its basic features.
Analytical/”Tracking” Cookies
These cookies provide statistical information, such as the number of visitors to our website in an aggregated and anonymized fashion and show how visitors navigate our website. This process helps us improve the performance of our website. We may use third-party analytic tools to help measure traffic and usage trends and to understand the demographics of our users.
Functionality Cookies
These cookies provide enhanced functionality and personalization on our website, such as remembering your preferences. They are set by the firm or by third-party providers (as disclosed below) whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly. These cookies do not track your activity on other sites or store any Personal Data.
Targeting/Advertising Cookies
These cookies profile users or deliver ads across social networks. We currently do not use social sharing tools on our website include, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
First- and Third-Party Cookies.
“First party cookies” are cookies that belong to Provascular and that Provascular places on your device. “Third party cookies” are cookies set by a different domain or site, typically when you use a specific function of the site such as playing a video or sharing a page. You should review the third party’s website for more information about how they use cookies. Details of third parties that set cookies through Provascular websites may be found in the section below entitled “Cookies Used by Provascular.” Provascular allows the following third parties to set cookies within the limits of applicable law:
(a) Matomo
Our websites use Matomo to help us understand how site visitors use our sites and to continuously improve the user experience. Both web analytics services use cookies to monitor traffic levels, search queries, and site visits. While data and backups are securely stored in Europe, Matomo is located in New Zealand.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of our websites may be transferred to and stored by servers outside of the EU. Matomo will use this information to measure your activity on our website, compile statistical reports on overall content interaction activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
Provascular has activated the IP anonymization feature for Matomo; as a result, they will either truncate or anonymize visitor’s IP addresses. You can find Matomo’s privacy statement and information on how to perform an opt-out here https://matomo.org/docs/privacy/.
(b) PushPanda
We also use browser push notifications from PushPanda.io. Browser push notifications are messages that can be displayed on your device without opening the web page or app. PushPanda.io is a service of Project K GmbH, located in Innsbruck, Austria. Push Panda.io sets the analytical cookies listed below.
PushPanda uses Google Analytics. This is a free service from Google, headquartered in the Unitied States, that lets us see detailed statistics about how users interact with your website/app including traffic, average time on site, geographic location of visitors and other useful metrics. These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our website. PushPanda use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the website. The cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone, including the number of visitors to the website and blog, where visitors have come to the website from and the pages they visited. Read Google‘s overview of privacy and safeguarding data at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
PushPanda also uses Facebook cookies to collect information about how visitors use our website. These cookies also do not identify anyone. You can find more in Facebook’s cookie policy at https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/. In addition to your browser settings and our Cookie Reference center, you can also control these cookies via your Facebook account.
No unique user data, such as IP addresses or the like, are stored by PushPanda, which could lead to direct conclusions about the respective user. When registering (opt-in procedure) in the notification distribution list, only an identification key and the geographic IP information (country and state) of the user will be transmitted and stored in the PushPanda.io database. This key is assigned by the respective browser manufacturer (Google, Mozilla, Apple, etc.) and enables the notifications to be sent to the respective browser later on. The notifications are sent directly via the browser manufacturer.
If the opt-in for push notifications is withdrawn (opt-out), all data stored at PushPanda.io will be deleted and the identification key will become invalid.
For information about the opt-out for push notifications, please visit www.pushpanda.io/de/links/abmeldung/.
